James Peak Wilderness, Colorado Engagment Session

What a perfect location in James Peak Wilderness for Michelle & Allen’s engagment photographs! They both really love being in this amazing valley all year long! I have to say, it’s fantastic place to explore! In mid-summer its great for backpacking and letting the dog swim as well as in winter when the snow is perfect for snowshoeing and skiing! They are such troopers in their fancy shoes this trip. We ended up trekking about two miles altogether to get to the favorite spot; taking a bunch of photos on the way!

I’m so excited to share this shoot, I LOVE FALL! So many beautiful yellow leaves! We were even lucky enough to find RED ones (I know east coaster’s it’s not that rare but here it is really rare). Some of the streams were still running and the moss was so cool! The abandoned building were a unique rustic backdrop for Michelle & Allen. Peeking inside these building was also quite interesting/entertaining/weirdness! If these building could only speak. It was just fabulously fall love with two love birds to photograph!

They are so perfect for each other! They are some of the lucky ones, they found each other  in college! They have learned about life together through the years and choose each other everyday. It was so wonderful to photograph them together. I can’t wait till they say I DO!
