Winter Adventure Engagment Photography Session at Loveland Pass, Colorado

Cassidy & Dimitri arrived to this amazing snowy location on Loveland Pass, Colorado for their adventure engagement session before the sun rose over the mountains. The temps were in the teens and it was really chilly before the sunshine warmed us up. To keep warm we lots of hand warmers and we even took a break to warm up in the car with the heat blasting and the heated seats on high. The love birds were both troopers because they are Colorado natives! They are more used to this weather than I am! Being from the south I’m still working on my tough winter skin, lots of down helps me stand the cold. Their pups were super excited to run around in the snow with us. We just had to make sure they didn’t do the polar plunge cause it was very close with the lake not completely frozen yet! None of use humans wanted to get in that frozen water!! The five of them are such an adorable family, the only one we are missing is their cat. I don’t think that the cat would have loved the long car ride with the dogs, or the cold weather. All I can think of is the movie, “The Secret Life of Pets” and wonder all the shenanigans that are going on in their house while Cassidy & Dimitri are away. The greatest thing about this hiking adventure engagement session is that from here we can see where they are going to get married this summer! How cool is that? They love the mountains so we just had to have their engagement session in this epic mountain location with a view of their venue! I had so much fun hiking around in the snow with Cassidy and Dimitri for their Colorado mountain adventure engagement session!
